Software License / EULA

IC HPT BIN Converter™ End User License Agreement

1. License grant

Subject to payment and activation, IC Advanced Automotive Diagnostics & Software grants the licensed user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use IC HPT BIN Converter on the authorized computer(s) specified by the license.

2. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. IC Advanced Automotive Diagnostics & Software retains rights in original source code, executable code, interface elements, documentation, branding, and updates, except for third-party components governed by their own licenses.

3. Restrictions

No redistribution, resale, sublicensing, rental, or sharing of license keys.
No bypassing or defeating license controls.
No copying or extracting proprietary code except where applicable law expressly permits an exception.
No use to access, modify, or distribute vehicle/module data without authorization.

4. Trial

Trial editions may impose file, device, feature, or time limits. Circumventing trial limits is prohibited.

5. Compatibility and updates

No claim of universal ECU/HPT/BIN compatibility is made. A controller may be classified as validated, observed, metadata-only, unsupported, or otherwise limited. Updates may change supported behavior.

6. User responsibility

The user is responsible for backups, stable power, correct interface/tooling, lawful use, vehicle safety, recovery capability, and verifying outputs before programming a module.

7. No warranty

Except where prohibited by law, software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation

To the maximum extent allowed by law, IC Advanced Automotive Diagnostics & Software is not liable for consequential or indirect damages, vehicle downtime, lost data, towing, rental, lost revenue, or damage caused by misuse, unsupported controllers, unstable programming conditions, or third-party tools.

9. Termination

The license may terminate for material breach, including unauthorized redistribution or license circumvention.

10. Marks

IC Advanced Automotive Diagnostics & Software™ and IC HPT BIN Converter™ are claimed marks of IC Advanced Automotive Diagnostics & Software. No right to use the marks is granted except to identify the genuine product.
