Mail-In ECU / Module Cloning

Customers should obtain compatibility confirmation before shipping. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for inbound shipping and adequate packaging. Return shipping terms are quoted per job.

Original and replacement modules

Where cloning requires an original and replacement module, both should be clearly labeled. Existing damage, water intrusion, prior repair, locked/secured states, corrupt memory, or incompatible hardware may prevent completion.

VIN and identity data

VIN/data transfer is performed only when technically supported and when the customer represents they are authorized to request the change. Additional vehicle-side setup may still be required.

File Services

File comparison, conversion, checksum/integrity review, VIN/data editing, EEPROM/flash review, and file-to-file transfer are offered only where the supplied data and controller structure support the requested operation.

No unlawful bypass service

IC Advanced Automotive Diagnostics & Software reserves the right to reject requests involving stolen vehicles/modules, unauthorized access, fraudulent odometer/identity manipulation, or other unlawful activity.

Shipping risk

Risk of loss in transit remains with the shipping party/carrier except to the extent required by applicable law. Customers should use tracking and adequate insurance.

Turnaround

Turnaround estimates are not guarantees because diagnosis, data corruption, subscriptions, replacement parts, shipping, or technical research can cause delays.
